Bonfires in Reykjavik. (Pdf - file) The bonfires in Reykjavik generally start at 20:00 and are in the same place year after year. My personal favorite, near the city centre, is the one on Ægissíða. Two hours later, most people will go home and watch a popular comedy show on television. The streets will be quiet until about 23:30 and then all hell breaks loose.
